Privacy Rights and Data Request Policy

This Policy explains how Wowmotive handles privacy rights and data requests when Wowmotive receives a request relating to Personal Data processed for a Customer or controlled directly by Wowmotive.

Where Wowmotive acts as Processor, the Customer is generally the Controller. Requests relating to driver/telemetry data or other Customer-controlled Personal Data may be routed to the Customer. Wowmotive will provide reasonable assistance as described in the DPA.

Where Wowmotive acts as Controller for account administration, billing, security, fraud prevention or similar activities, Wowmotive will assess and respond to valid requests under Applicable Law.

Wowmotive may request reasonable information needed to verify the requester’s identity or authority before disclosing or changing Personal Data.

Requests will be assessed under Applicable Law. Wowmotive may decline or limit a request where a lawful exception applies, where responding would affect another person’s rights, where the request concerns data controlled by a Customer, or where retention is required by law.

Wowmotive will respond to requests within the time required by Applicable Law, taking into account the nature, complexity, and volume of the request, and may extend that time where Applicable Law permits, with notice to the requester where practicable.

Requests and supporting evidence will be handled using reasonable security measures. Requesters should not include unnecessary credentials, passwords or highly sensitive information in email or support tickets.

Wowmotive may modify, update, or replace this document at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, effective immediately upon posting. Where a change is legally required to be separately notified, Wowmotive will provide the additional notice required by Applicable Law.
