Cookie Policy

Effective Date: August 28, 2026 · Version 1.0

Public Website Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy.

1. Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how Wowmotive, LLC (“Wowmotive,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our public website. It does not apply to the Wowmotive Driver App or Dashboard, which are covered by the Driver App Privacy Notice and Dashboard Privacy Notice respectively. This Policy should be read together with our Public Website Privacy Policy.

2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We and our service providers may also use related technologies, including local storage, pixels, and similar identifiers, for the purposes described in this Policy. References to “cookies” in this Policy include these related technologies unless stated otherwise.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

3A. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the website and any account login area to function — for example, maintaining your session, authenticating logged-in users, load balancing, and protecting against fraud and abuse. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, and disabling them may prevent parts of the website (including login) from working correctly.

3B. Functional / Preference Cookies

These cookies remember choices you make on the website, such as display or layout preferences, to provide a more consistent experience across visits.

3C. Analytics / Performance Cookies

Where enabled, these cookies help us understand how visitors use the website — for example, which pages are viewed and general usage patterns — so we can improve the website. Analytics cookies are used only in an aggregated or pseudonymised form where feasible and are enabled subject to Section 4 below.

3D. No Advertising or Cross-Site Tracking

We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising, build cross-site advertising profiles, or sell or share cookie data with data brokers or ad-tech networks. If this changes in the future, this Policy will be updated before any such cookie is set, and, where required by Applicable Law, your consent will be requested first.

4. Legal Basis and Consent

Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis that they are required to provide the website and services you request and do not require separate consent. Functional and analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary will only be set with your consent where consent is required by Applicable Law, given through the website’s cookie controls or your browser settings, and you may withdraw that consent at any time as described in Section 7. Where a cookie processes Personal Data, it is handled in accordance with our Public Website Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

5. Third-Party Cookies

Where we use a third-party service that sets its own cookies (for example, an analytics or infrastructure provider), that provider’s use of cookies is also subject to its own privacy and cookie practices. We do not currently have any third-party cookie providers active on the public website; if and when one is introduced, it will be identified here, together with a link to that provider’s relevant policy, before it is enabled.

6. Cookie Duration and Retention

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a limited period appropriate to their purpose, and in any event for no longer than is reasonably necessary for that purpose, after which they expire or are refreshed upon your next visit.

7. How to Manage or Disable Cookies

Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies through their settings, and you can typically choose to be notified when a cookie is set. Where the website provides an on-site cookie preference control, you may also manage non-essential cookies there. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website or account login from functioning correctly. Managing cookies through your browser is separate from, and does not itself constitute a request under, our Privacy Rights and Data Request Policy.

8. International Processing

Wowmotive is based in the United States. Where cookie-related information is processed by us or our service providers, it may be stored, accessed, or processed in the United States or other jurisdictions, using the safeguards required by Applicable Law where applicable.

9. Children

Our website is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly use cookies to collect Personal Data from children through the public website.

10. Relationship to Our Privacy Policy

This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Public Website Privacy Policy, which describes in more detail how we handle Personal Data. Where this Policy and the Privacy Policy address the same subject matter, both apply; in the event of a direct conflict specifically regarding cookies, this Policy controls.

11. Changes to This Policy

Wowmotive may modify, update, or replace this Cookie Policy at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, effective immediately upon posting the updated version. Where a change is legally required to be separately notified or consented to, Wowmotive will provide the additional notice required by Applicable Law.
